Week 2 of the Bar course has commenced. This first year I am focusing solely on criminal litigation and this week I am covering everything from charge decisions to sentencing. The reading is extensive, it has involved many late nights and weekends just to prepare for the workshops. The workshops themselves are back to back (3 a day, each 2 hours long) with two short breaks. It is extremely intense alongside full time work.
