🍳 Starting the day right 🍳 A bad start to the day translates into a bad rest of the day. Even if you do sit down and work, the work you do probably won’t be your best. Starting the day comes before breakfast. When you wake up, make sure to drink water. Your brain is dehydrated after sleep and a hydrated brain is a brain that’s active and awake. Then breakfast. Carbs from cereal or bread-based products (like toast or bagel) for example are best I find as carbohydrates burn slowly throughout the morning and keep you going. High sugar foods will just lead to lows as the sugar is burned off quicker. If your 30g bowl of cereal has more than 10g sugar, it probs isn’t best for your studies. I prefer tea to coffee anyway but whatever you choose, watch your caffeine. You don’t wanna end up on a caffeine low because you had coffee before water. Making a brew every 5 minutes isn’t productive either! I’d recommend herbal teas, Pukka herbs specifically. There’s loads of great flavours (Lemon, Ginger and Manuka Honey is the BOMB) and most (I definitely know Pukka are) are naturally caffeine free. Herbal teas can also carry health benefits, especially ones that are turmeric based or contain it as a main ingredient. I’m not a fitness or nutrition expert so please correct me if I’m wrong on any of those parts if you know about these things. How do you start the day for a productive day of studying? 🍳📚✨ #llb #law #lawstudent #ulaw #liveprospectus #stopfordianlaw #solicitor #coursework #studyingathome #exams #criminallaw #landlaw #lawoforganisations #businesslaw #businesslaw1 #bagel #yorkshiretea #yorkshiregold
