🖋 Note Taking and Revision 🖋 Firstly, hi again! Sorry for not posting on Sunday. Hope you all had a good weekend? Land Law is on Thursday so I’m making sure I’ve got all my notes condensed. Although it’s now technically open book (due to Covid restrictions and difficulty of invigilating remotely), and despite being given an extra half an hour as it’s our first remote unseen paper, the extra time is mainly in case there are tech issues (as we still have to submit on the day within the specified exam duration), and we won’t have the opportunity to look up lots of material in the exam. This particular method is called the Cornell method. I’ll bring more on it later but I’d like to give a HUGE thank you to lawstudentinleeds for introducing me to it. His notes are much nicer than mine as you’ll see by my abomination of a header at the top (shouldn’t have used highlighter eek). I’m finding the Cornell method really helpful. I’m also surprised at how I’ve managed to condense a whole topic (10 page student guide!) onto 2 sides of A4. Have you got any exams coming up? Have you tried the Cornell method and found it useful? If not what method of studying do you use/prefer? 📚✨ PS: all stationery companies are tagged! The rose gold pen is brilliant to write with as it flows so easily! And the triplus fineliners are great for referencing cases and making them stand out! Stabilo also make the black pen next to the orange one (it writes in gold!) #llb #law #ulaw #liveprospectus #2ndyear #lawstudent #stopfordianlaw #cornell #studying #stationeryaddict #revision #landlaw #badhandwriting #notes #useful
