Hi everyone! Sooooo..... I’ve been posting occasional stories but it’s been a long time since I’ve made a grid post, so I decided a general chat up post was needed! Honestly time has flown by and I can’t believe it’s almost the end of the first year of the LPC (I’m part time so it’s over two years). I feel like so much has happened since my last post that I don’t even know where to start 😅 to name a few: ✅ I’ve officially submitted my first TC application of the cycle - really need to sort myself out and make a decent start on the second ✅I’ve started and now nearly completed my employment law elective workshops. The exam has come round super fast and is less than a month away! ✅I’ve submitted my Law and Business elective coursework - let’s not even talk about the stress that caused me ✅Survived financial year end! If you work in a law firm (in whatever role I.e admin or fee earner) you can probably relate to the stress and chaos of this especially after the difficult year we have all had I have now reached the point where I am so tired and finding it hard to motivate myself to do the work for this last part of the year. Is anyone else experiencing the same? The burnout struggle is definitely real😭 Outside of work and study, I have been finding to again to do more baking to relax and de-stress, let’s be honest what doesn’t warm cookies and/or brownies fix! 🍪 ♥️ I’ve also got a few plans in my diary for eating out/meeting up with people which is so nice after being stuck in lockdown/restrictions for so long. Weirdly excited to just go to a coffee shop and have a coffee, like the amazing white chocolate mocha *as pictured* for real this coffee was insane 😍Still haven’t really been able to see my family (or my dog) but I’m hoping that will soon change.
