As my second post I would like to introduce myself and why I have the passion for law! My name is Clare, I am 21 and from Essex. I am currently in my second year studying LLB law with criminology at u_law in London. When I was younger (see the second pic for the cuteness) I always wanted to be an armed police officer 👮🏻 I blame watching police interceptors and road wars for that. But as i grew up lots of things in my life became surrounded by law as my parents went through a divorce. Since then, I realised I was not suited for the police and wanted to be more hands on within the process. When I was around the age of 13 I knew that I wanted to go to university to study law, that was that. As I am so determined in things that is what I was going to be doing there was no stepping back no matter how many times I got told I wouldn’t be able to do it. I would love to be able to go into family law, although I debated between family law and medical negligence! But I finally made a decision and would love to become a family law Solicitor to start with. I am hoping to then become a family law barrister, then eventually have my own law firm. There is a lot of hard work to be done but I cannot wait to be able to achieve all my goals. I know I have not been very active on here but that is going to change 🤩 with much more content of current affairs and updates on my life at university through and hopefully the near end of this pandemic!
