Got that #backtoschool feeling 🙌 Today I start the next phase of my barrister training, the Bar Practice Course (BPC). It’s a 9 month course where I’ll learn about the civil and criminal litigation systems in England and Wales and hone my argumentation, advocacy, debate and negotiation skills. For the first time since my return to higher education I will actually be having classes in person twice a week. Having been holed up in my flat for work much of the past two years, it feels weird to be let out in the world again. But I’m excited to entering this next phase of training and to have the opportunity to learn and develop skills with my tutors and classmates.
