Live Prospectus - by the people who know us best, our students

Exam season has approached again… I am a first year online student and these are some things I’ve done to help me stay focused and find the transition easier 😊 1. Maintain a fixed routine ⏰: It’s very easy to stay up later and wake up later when you’re an online student. But I find that sticking to having a routine helps me be more productive. 2. Getting out of bed and ready for the day 👜: I cannot be focused when I stay in my Pjs, putting on an outfit (something practical and still comfy), doing my hair and even sometimes a simple makeup routine helps my brain engage in work. 3. Breakfast 🍳: The first meal of the day is the most important. Not only to give me energy but also to make sure I can concentrate and take in information. 4. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER 5. Take breaks regularly🧘 ♀️: away from your computer screen. 6. Planning 📖: I love to have a physical planner that I can write and organize my week. Having a clear visual on when things are due makes it harder to miss deadlines and forget things such as homework, projects, meetings and most importantly exams. 7. Having a dedicated work space 🏠: I personally have a desk where I can work from and store away everything I need for a lecture. This helps getting started easier because everything has its own place. 8. Finding inspiration 💭: A lot of the time I’m faced with no inspiration or motivation so I find that sometimes I just need a new work space for the day. It could be outside in the garden (Whenever we are lucky enough to get some sun in England) or going to a coffee shop or any public space. 9. Make time for hobbies 🏃 ♀️ ➡️ 10. Don’t raise too high of expectations 📝: Prioritize what is important and track your progress as you go. This helps stop procrastinating. #university #lawstudent #student #ulaw #england #2025 #graduation #exams #examsstress #revision #study #stayproductive #organization #follow #lifestyle #like #foryoupage #fyp
