This is taken from my daughter’s window, as she’s moving out in the coming weeks I thought it best to get the photo taken before the opportunity is missed. The old County Court of Salford, built in 1860 and once sketched by L S Lowry, this stunning architecture is now a Grade II listed building. It sits on an old cobbled street opposite more Grade II listed buildings, which makes the whole street untouchable from its outstanding historical beauty. It really is like a time capsule hidden away in Salford. This Court house was quite lavish for its time and boasted separate rooms for judge, council and jury. It closed its doors in 1992 and is now used for accommodation. Lovely little street that is a few minutes from the historical Peel Park and Salford Museum and Art Gallery (which is almost a must to see). #law #lawstudent #student #lawschool #ulaw #university #universityoflaw #chester #chesteruni #legallyblonde #futurelawyer #llb #lawyer #solicitor #salford #countycourt #oldcourthouse #manchester #history #liveprospectus #lslowry law_withbeth (@law_withbeth) posted on Instagram May 08, 2022 10:19
