Our top tips for your Reel Deal competition videos
π Aim for 90 seconds Your video should be between 1 minute and 3 minutes, plenty of time for telling your story. We would recommend aiming for around 90 seconds, to hit that Instagram algorithm sweet spot. π Share your story We want to hear your personal experiences. Be authentic and bring a real-life example to the table - you can even name people who have supported you if you want to. π Stick to the topic Make sure that your video fits within the topic requirements. The topics for this round are Support and Funding. You only need to talk about one of these topics. π Rep the ULaw colours Wear something blue or purple to reflect our University colours, show off some branded merch if you have any or film on footage on campus to add a little sprinkle of ULaw. π Be yourself We want to see your personality coming through the video. Remember, the judges will be looking for relatability and authenticity, so donβt put pressure on yourself to have a polished final edit. π Finally, don't forget to film in portrait, think about your audio and sound quality and make sure you're happy with the final product.
