✨ WORKING/STUDYING FROM HOME - My Way ✨ I have been working from home since March 2020, and have been an online student since starting my degree in September 2019 so you could say adapting to online work and study has gone pretty smoothly for me. However, I know this is not the case with others that are studying for upcoming exams, so here is a little list of things I have done to make studying and working from home more efficient: ▪️ Treat your day of studying like a work day. ▫️ Be persistent and minimise distractions! ▪️ Play some music that will get you focused, or play an ambiance video on YouTube e.g. library noise ambiance. ▫️ Tackle the worst tasks first so they’re out of the way. ▪️ Have a dedicated lunch hour as if you would if working in an office! ▫️ PUT YOUR PHONE AWAY! (Very important for a strong study session). ▪️ Create tasks and to-do lists of what your focuses/priorities are for the day. ▫️ Try to have a dedicated work/study space - lying in bed or on the sofa whilst studying is not sustainable and won’t get you in the zone! 🌟 What have you done to make your work/study from home routine more efficient? 🌟 #studygram #lawdegree #lawstudy #lawblog #lawblogger #llb #revision #lawstudent #lawstudies #futurelawyer #lawschool #studylaw #llblaw #digitalnotes #studytips #studyspo #studystudy #studyblog #studyinspo #studygramcommunity #digitalnotetaking #studyblr #studynotes #studywithme #studying #ulaw #studyblogger #studygrammer #studylife #studyinspiration

🥂I’M A SOLICITOR!!!🥂⁣ ⁣ I can’t believe after so long I can finally say that!! According to my parents I’ve wanted to be a solicitor since I was 12 years old (not something I’d even realised until they mentioned it the other day!) but I thought it was pretty cool to finally achieve a goal I’ve had for so long! It’s been a long journey but one I’ve loved sharing on here and can’t wait to share the next stage of my career! ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been so lucky to have so much support on this account and so grateful to everyone who’s followed my route to qualification!💗🥂⁣ ⁣ More to follow on my next steps but I can share that I’ll be qualifying into a corporate team at a new firm in their Cambridge office!⁣ ⁣ #law #legalcareer #qualification #trainingcontract #lpc #ulaw #career #corporate #lawstudents #solicitor #lawsociety

So how is the LPC *really* going… I think I was quite naive starting the LPC thinking it would be a breeze🥲 Nope. I was wrong. The LPC might just be the most intense part of my education journey I’ve ever faced (but I suppose if it was easy, everyone would be doing it). I think the content itself is fine, it’s the READING and the TASKS and the ALL ROUND WORKLOAD that is hard to juggle! I would class myself as a pretty organised person, so I like to try and get a week ahead for upcoming workshops But, some weeks it’s physically impossible when they’re asking for 2467 pages of reading and 36 tasks by Monday 🥹. That being said, I’m very thankful that it’s just a 9 month course because if the degree was like this I dunno how long I would have lasted😂… Anyway, this Saturday morning we’re onto business law prep for Monday (first official day back at uni)! #lawstudent #lawdegree #lawschool #lawblog #lpc #legal #legalpracticecourse #law #student #degree #school #masters #college #studying #studylaw #lawstudy #study #lawyerlife #lawyer #lawyertobe #lawstudents #lawlife #ulaw #university #college #uni

Wills Exam Update! These were the materials I took to the examination! (Minus the large ring binder) Glad to say they really helped me navigate my way through without reading unnecessary pages in a text book. (which a few student did) 😣 • I took my Workshop notes on Inheritance, Wills 1 & 2 which helped me to see similar scenarios. • I did take my SRA Codes of Conduct because a question on PCR usually appears, (Happy I did not have to bother with it) • lpcbuddy notes were very useful, I had to tab each content to make it easier to navigate • Calculator, Pencil and rubber is NECESSARY! #law #ulaw #manchester #university #lawstudent #lpc #masters #lpcbuddy

Life update with some pictures of the best hot chocolates I’ve made when working from home✨ So 1 week into January and I’ve been in isolation the whole time - not the best start! Luckily I’m at the end now and ready to feel like I’ve actually gone back to work (by going into the office a few days a week). Coming back I’ve felt a little lost with work as having 2 weeks off when everything’s new caused me to feel (initially) like I’d forgotten everything. Despite this I’m back into the swing now, and getting on with work, my first university assessment (due next week!), and some other personal goals. Since the wfh order / suggestion (?) I haven’t made it to the gym, and did basically no exercise while home for the holidays, so have been trying to make myself do at least 1 home workout a day (as I’ve been unable to meet my step goal within my 1 bed flat) I have my first review with work coming up very soon, so spending some time reflecting on what I’ve achieved so far and what else I want to achieve in my first seat of my apprenticeship. Have my second university check in around the same time so will be reflecting on the assessment (once I’ve completed it) Hope you are doing well and managing to be consistent in achieving what you want to ☺️ #law #solicitor #solicitorapprentice #apprentice #london #londonnetworking #londonlife #lawyerintraining #uni #unioflaw #universityoflaw #parttimestudent #studygram #revision #workwear #workinspo #workwearstyle #apprenticeship #womeninlaw #studytips #revisionhelp #university #notgoingtouni #workwear #workinspo #workwearstyle #apprenticeships #legalupdates #studygram #studywithme

About this time last year I started law school!! It’s actually crazy how time has flown because it still doesn’t completely feel like I’ve finished due to not having a graduation etc. My time on the LPC taught me a lot about myself and some of the skills I never even knew I had picked up, as disorganised as I sometimes feel like I am, I’ve always made things work and balanced my time really well running from the library to events, designing a sneaker in the middle of sitting my final exams in a pandemic and doing shoots after classes for work. I would love to say that law school was a breeze but I’m not here to sugar coat anything. It consisted of late nights, a few meltdowns and a lot of caffeine but it was all worth it in the end as I completed it! So good luck to anyone who’s starting law school or university in general, you’ll smash it! Also I have a new YouTube video up today at 6pm!!! 🤍 • • • • • • • • • #ulaw #theuniversityoflaw #lpc #law #solicitor #lawschool #student #postgraduate #lawyer #solicitor #love #career #work #qualification #university #liveprospectus #thestreetlawyer #graduation #lawyer #streetstyle #studygram #studentlife #alevels #gcse #schoolmemories #studyblog #studymotivation #studyblogger #prettylittlething #whiteshirt #fashionblogger #minimalist

Hi guys! So this is my first post here and I’m not sure how to start it etc! So I thought I’d introduce myself to those of you that don’t know me and what my page will consist of etc! So my name is Maariya but Maya is my nickname 😂 I graduated from LLB at Nottingham Trent University with a 2:1 and I had started my LPC and LLM at ULAW online! I’m hoping to go into corporate law! I’d love to get to know you all a bit more knowing what areas of law you’d love to go into and if you are studying which university are you at and how are you finding it? Also I would love to post tips and advice on studying but I’m sure what most of you are doing works and I look for inspiration from those that I have followed so far! As someone that continues with mental health such as anxiety I would want nothing more than my page to be a safe place that will also be posting on mental health and my dms are open to those that do need advice or someone to listen to! I look forward getting to know you all not just on my own legal journey but yours too!! #lpcstudent #lawstudent #lawblog #lawyer #lawblogger #ulaw #ntu #aspiringsolicitor #aspiringsolicitors #ethnicwomaninlaw

🌲END OF SEMESTER 1 🌲 I don’t know how anyone else feels but this semester has been a tough one! This week is my last week of reading before we move onto our consolidation lectures and then finish for Christmas before assessments in January. The modules have been tough this semester so I’m happy to have almost come to the end - how have you found this term? #lawstudent #llb #ulaw #futuretraineesolicitor #lawdegree🎓 #lawfirm #ulaw
