Been waiting for this for SO long. β£ β£ I study at Ulaw and the electives I have chosen are:β£ β£ 1. Advanced real estate β£ 2. Commercial law and practice β£ 3. Intellectual property law β£ β£ I chose real estate because I really enjoy it. Itβs technical and you always have something new to learn. And itβs tangible, you can actually see the end result with a property whether itβs a development, acquisition etc. β£ β£ Commercial law and intellectual property go hand in hand. Iβve been fortunate enough to gain experience in both of these areas whilst I was on secondment. I think itβs really important to have a good base contract knowledge for any area of law as ultimately all practice areas are effectively based off a contract. β£ β£ Covid-19 has basically caused hysteria (understandably) and Ulaw has sensibly closed campuses and moved learning online. The future of face to face workshops are uncertain at the moment and that makes me REALLY NERVOUS. It seems online workshops are more work and actually, I learn so much from face to face workshops.
