I am relieved to be finishing, but the pressure is now on for the exams in just over a two weeks! Eek! π¨β β Thankfully, I have been relatively organised in terms of producing consolidation notes from the start. However, I did lose my Business Law and Practice notes a few weeks back. Thankfully, after the help from some of my trusty and fellow LPC'ers, I am back on track. ππΌβ β The written exams are open book apart from the MCQs, which are closed book. In the open book exams, we are allowed 1 large lever arch, 1 smaller lever arch, and a textbook. Which, I admit, is a God-send because if I have a blank moment in the exam, I have my comfort-blanket lever arch file to help me out. So, I need to get motoring on finishing tabbing my files, condensing my notes and start the epic job of colour printing. I can feel the hole in my bank account already appearing from the amount of ink I am going to burn though! I have 4 exams in total, so its going to be a rather stressful exam period this time round. πβ β I also have my final practical assessment on Monday, which is Advocacy. I am feeling confident as my practice went well and I have implemented all of the constructive feedback into my preparation for the real thing. Fingers crossed it goes as well as the practice run. π€π»β β Once this madness of an exam period is finished, I start my elective subjects: Mergers & Acquisitions, Advanced Commercial Law and Banking and Debt Finance. I will also be focusing on my MSc research essay which is due in April, which is also about M&A! Luckily, this is an area of law and topic I find really interesting so I'm sure the essay writing will go smoothly. πβ β Wishing all LPC students the very best of luck in their exams, and other law students for their coursework/assessments! π€β β Have a great rest of the week. ππ»β β #TLPTakeover by Kirsty Henton (misshenton ), LPC Student at the University of Law.β thelawyerportal (@thelawyerportal) posted on Instagram February 11, 2020 13:04
