0 Likes Like This Like Work Instagram shot by lisadeecoaching Published Sept. 16 2020 08:51 PM I’M BECOMING A LAWYER 🤯 I still can’t believe I’m saying this but I start university on Monday with the incredible University of Law here in London 😭 I am so excited to undertake a few years of hard work to get my degree and move forward into the world of law and do some damn important work 👏🏻 My dream is to eventually become a social justice / human rights lawyer 😍 My work to date has always been centered around helping women find their voice, to stand up for themselves and to step into their power, but now I want to make an even bigger impact. I want to create change where change truly matters. I want to fight for justice for the women and children who don't have a voice fighting for them. I want to study and work hard to become the lawyer I need to be to do the work I feel called to do. Even further down the line I wanna be part of making a CHANGE regarding policies. Yup I know it’s a long road ahead, but sure the time is gonna pass regardless?! 😂 I’ve thought about it long and hard and it brings me to tears to think about the work I will be one day able to do if I sacrifice my free time, study and work hard now 💪🏻 I am not afraid of hard work, I crave it. I’m glad I have my business giving me the flexibility to take on such a huge time commitment, I’m amazed how that has led to this and so grateful for that, as I always say; take one step and the next step will reveal itself 🥰 This decision came to me back in April, I couldn’t stop thinking about it, everything seemed to then just fall into place as I found the perfect private uni that was still accepting applications for September, I had to go get my exam results from 13 years ago, I applied through UCAS, I passed the interview stage and got an offer!
