Having a good and tidy(ish) workspace makes studying so much easier 🤓 - This morning I went on my longest run yet. I have never been much of a runner, but since September last year I have been building up my time and speed on short runs and getting better every time. Setting goals is so important to success! 🙌🏻 - After being nominated a few times to complete the run.for.heroes challenge, I’ve decided to set myself a new goal. For the next few weeks I have set myself a goal of running 15km a week and will be donating money to any charity that is raising money for our Heroes per run. This will hopefully take my mind of my studies for a bit too. Today’s donation went to nhscharitiestogether for #CaptainTomMoore who, as many of you will know, set himself the goal of doing 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday to raise money for the NHS👏🏻🙌🏻 - How I view it, is that I would have spent £5 at least a day on coffees alone if we weren’t on lockdown, which is the equivalent to around £150 a month 🤯🤣🙄 or we would have all spent money on eating out, clothes, seeing friends and family. So, whether you can spare £1, £5 or even £10 per run you go on, I hope you also do this challenge! 💪🏼 You can walk, run, cycle or anything you want. It will hopefully keep you fit, motivated and make you proud too! (Or set your own challenge / just donate!) - Donating money to the NHS means staff and volunteers can be given well-being packs and gifts, fund their travel and parking costs, pay for their accommodations and perhaps travel expenses. Some charities such as brighterfuturesnhs says donations can also go towards extra equipment and staffing, and their patients can benefit from education and equipment not normally available on the NHS. - We are all in this together. Everyday that passes, every donation given and every person who makes a difference makes us 1 step closer to beating this thing 🙌🏻☺️ legally.louise (@legally.louise) posted on Instagram April 17, 2020 10:59
