It’s application season! ✨ Having been through the process I know it’s also one of the most stressful times. Trying to make yourself seem like the ideal candidate for the firm in just a few hundred words is not the easiest gig... My tips: 🔑 Research the firm - what type of work do they do? Who are their clientele? and then bring out why this work interests you in your answers. 🔑Skills - how do your past experiences/ work equip you with the skills to take on the role. This is where you can talk about key skills required form a lawyer such as organisation, attention to detail and so on, and how your experiences such as positions of responsibility or hobbies that have prepared you to take on the role. 🔑Personality- this will be what distinguishes you. Most firms ask candidates to list their interests and extra curricular activities. This is your opportunity to really show the employer that you are interesting!
