“I didn’t have a particularly easy journey breaking into law. I didn’t have the best A-levels in the world or a lot of connections. I struggled with the process and I think a lot of people in my position wouldn’t have bothered trying in the first place.” — Yep, that’s how it started and now I am actually a lawyer! A huge thank you to u_law and legalcheek for naming me one of their 10 individual pioneers and innovators of 2020. There are still some days where I can’t believe I even made it into the profession given how I started so this is quite incredible. Some crazy-inspiring and super-successful people feature on this list and I am insanely proud to sit alongside them. One thing I think we all have in common? Resilience. None of us were handed our careers and we all had to graft in our own way and be creative in our approach. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Living proof right here 🙋🏻 ♀️ .
