Alexa, play The Final Countdown by Europe. Blue spark and a split window screen with a word document and LexisNexis means one thing - it’s deadline season! Arguably my most important one yet considering 3/4 of my module submissions over the next month are weighted a 100% for the module. No pressure ... My first deadline is tomorrow at 3pm. With the whirlwind this year has been I’ve *reluctantly* got extensions on 2 of the assessments that were originally due tomorrow, meaning it’s just my dissertation to be sent off within the next 24 hours. I’ve got the proof readers on stand by whilst I make my way through my notebook filled with random scribbles of last minute sources and analysis to add in. However the next 21 hours go, I’m very excited about the thought of celebrating my first submission of semester 2 tomorrow with lots of drinks... before heading back to the library at the weekend to start on the remaining 3 assessments. Definitely not feeling the KimK lawyer fantasy... 🥲🥂📚
