So the Coronavirus tried to delay this making it's way to me, but here it is... my winner's certificate for my JLD essay!! 🎉🏆🎊🥳⁣ ⁣ I still feel truly honoured to have won the 2019 competition. When I entered I never imagined I would one day be standing with a certificate signed by the Chair of the JLD and the President of the Law Society of England and Wales!!⁣ ⁣ This certificate is going to have pride of place in my room. To some it may just be a piece of paper, but for me it symbolises so much more. When I look at this now I know that ANYTHING is possible if I put my mind to it. If you're prepared to put in the work for something you want in life, and never give up, it is always attainable. ⁣ ⁣ And on that note, I would urge all trainees, solicitor apprentices, LPC students and LPC grads to enter the JLD's 2020 essay competition. The closing date for submissions is 5pm on Friday 31 May so you still have time! Have a go and see exactly what's possible!!⁣ ⁣
