❤️ 🩹TRAINING CONTRACT NEWS❤️ 🩹 Good afternoon bees. Hope you’re all okay and looking forward to the bank holiday weekend. They seem to come at the right time. As some of you know, I applied internally at my work’s training contract and today I’ve sadly found out that my application will not be moving forward to the assessment centre. Yep, I’ve cried. I’m quite gutted about it as I know how good Irwin Mitchell is after being there for almost three years in September. I’ve been anxious all week and to be honest with how competitive training contracts are anyways, I had a feeling that I wasn’t going to get it this time… But, it doesn’t mean I’m just going to give up. I will apply next year and the year after that if I don’t get through the next one. I’m still going to apply to other law firms. When there’s a will, there is a way. Just got to pick yourself back up and carry on. It’s all experience right? That’s what I’m bearing in mind. It Ofcourse took a lot of time to get the application to a good and happy standard, but you learn. I’m appreciative that I get feedback with being an internal candidate so, there’s always a positive I guess. Hopefully I get some good news soon with some paralegal roles I’ve applied to at my work. I’ve got everything crossed I hear some progress in those. But for now, I’m going to be feasting on some dominos in a bit with my boyfriend and chilling out.
