👩🏼 ⚖️A career in law... 👩🏼 ⚖️ 🌻I don’t know about you guys but I completely underestimated the difficulty of getting a job in the legal field. I knew it would be fairly competitive but before starting my LPC I thought I could just walk into a training contract! After much more research and many more applications I realised things weren’t so easy. 🌻I’ve heard people in my classes saying things like “it seems everyone has a training contract but me” and I think everyone trying to get a tc can relate to this feeling. 🌻However, if you are feeling like this currently... you are not alone! Yes of course there are people who have tc’s and that’s amazing for those people! I fully congratulate them and wish them the best of luck💫However there are also many people who do not have a tc and putting so much pressure on yourself to get one can impact your self-worth. 🌟Not having a tc at this current time does not reflect on your ability, your worth or your success. It is simply a matter of time before that will be you! 🌟 🌻I thought I’d make this post just to keep spirits high and let people know they aren’t alone. I have personally come to the realisation that I need some experience before jumping into a training contract. I am currently looking for paralegal roles with the opportunity for progression within a firm and I am happy with that! 🌻We need to remember how competitive the industry is and eventually we will get there.
